Ruby's inheritance and mixins
I just finished reading about these and, I have to say, they’re really neat. It moments like this that I really do see how Ruby is designed to make programmers happy! What a great way to combine the simplicity of single inheritance while still having a way to utilise the power that comes with multiple inheritance.

Creating local then remote branches in Git
I think that this is one of the most confusing aspects of Git for me. After some googling I think that this is the most straightforward way for me to do it:
$ git checkout -b zzz # Let the hacking commence... $ git push origin zzz $ git checkout master # see note 2 $ git branch -f zzz origin/zzz $ git checkout zzz # Let the hacking continue...
